Use of ozone for wound healing is a two-phase process:

Phase 1 – Kill the bacteria and viruses in the wound – use ozone gas – 60 to 80 gamma, full ozonated water or strong ozonated oils – Three times per day for first two days

Phase 2 – Promote healing through increased oxygenation – ozone gas – 20 gamma or milder ozone oil – Three times per day for two weeks

This section demonstrates that herniated disc therapy has a 60-80% success rate using just ozone/O2injections. This series of injections has equal or better efficacy when compared to back surgery and has the added benefits of no recuperation time and low cost.

  • Spinal stenosis
  • Treatment of neuropathic pain

Clinical Integration of Oxygen/Ozone Therapy in Dental Medicine – A Comprehensive Review

Educational goals will be directed to accomplish the following:

  1. Introduce the biophysics, biochemistry and physiologic responses of oxygen/ozone dental therapy.
  2. Present dental applications of oxygen/ozone therapy.
  3. Integrate safe and effective oxygen/ozone procedures into patient care.
  4. Eliminate oral infections without toxic side effects.

Ozone has an unprecedented history of success in the treatment of several eye disorders. Please read some of the studies on topics listed below.

Ten Year Study in Patients Suffering from (Tunnel Vision and Decreased Night Vision) and Treated with Repeated Cycles of Ozone Therapy.

The purpose of this work was to study the effect of ozone in the treatment of female infertility of inflammatory etiology. We administered ozone to 56 patients (50 out of which were infertile), who had previously unsuccessfully undergone various kinds of treatments for inflammatory diseases of the genitalia.

Ozone therapy in the concentrations used by us has good curative effect on infections caused by bacteria, chlamydia, mycoplasma, urea-plasma, toxoplasma, herpes simplex and cytomegalovirus and eliminates inflammation thus facilitating patency of the fallopian tubes which in turn has a positive effect on female infertility of inflammatory origin.

Information on the ozone injections on nerves, ganglia or nervous plexus.

As pain physician, we are always looking for better alternatives, for the management of difficult chronic pain cases, and one of the most difficult challenges we face, is the management of neuropathic pain. There are many studies on the effect of ozone injections for joints and musculoesqueletal pain, but we find very little information on the ozone injections on nerves, ganglia or nervous plexus. So I will describe my experience with some of the most frequent ozone applications I do for neuropathic pain on my daily practice, and those are injection on the trigeminal nerve and sphenopalatine ganglia, brachial plexus, lumbosacral plexus and caudal epidural.

External Ozone Therapy for Sinusitis

In cases of sinusitis, therapy with and ozone/oxygen mixture is performed in the following way.

The nasal cavity is washed with distilled water or saline solution by using a syringe.

Next, two 10 ml syringes are filled with ozone/oxygen mixture, ozone concentration being 10 mg/l.

The patient is asked to inhale deeply and hold it so that the gas mixture does not get into respiratory ducts.

Then ozone/oxygen mixture from two syringes is intensively pushed through the nostrils (as shown in the picture) and the patient quickly closes the nostrils with their fingers for 10 seconds.

They then exhale through the nose and the mouth. The number of daily procedures can be 5 to 10.
